An opportunity is available in Kilkenny for a qualified healthcare assistant seeking regular work in the Irish care sector. We are looking for a reliable and caring healthcare assistant with solid experience in an Irish healthcare setting who is comfortable working in a busy residential care environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine commitment to resident wellbeing, a professional attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a care team.

Role Requirements

• A completed QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support
• A minimum of 2 years' professional experience in a healthcare setting
• Full driving licence and confident to drive
• Fluent communication skills
• Previous experience as a healthcare assistant in an Irish healthcare setting
• Experience in a nursing home or residential care environment is an advantage
• Confident in delivering personal care and day-to-day support
• Experience supporting individuals with more complex care needs is beneficial
• Availability for a mix of shifts, including nights
